Correct mirror use helps the driver see what is not visible directly ahead. This is especially important when changing lanes, turning, reversing, or stopping.

A driver should check mirrors before a maneuver, during the maneuver, and after it if needed. Turning on the indicator is not enough — you must make sure you are not creating danger for others.
